Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Last week I went to Cambridge for the day with my mum and sister. Mainly to shop. Which is most certainly what I did.
So we had to get the train from Norwich station at 9:40. I was hungry (as per usual) so grabbed a Subway. I always have tuna and cheese on herby cheese Italian bread with lettuce, cucumber and extra mayo just in case you were wondering. We arrived early at the station and the train arrived 10 minutes early too which was was even better.
ITV News were filming at the station and my mum and sister were on it! #TVFAMOUS. It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get into Cambridge, when we finally got there it’s about a 20 minute walk to the big shopping mall, The Grand Arcade. The first shop I went into was Victora's Secret. We don’t have one of these shops in Norwich so as soon as I
walked in there I was tempted to say 'sorry, bank account' to my debit card. I got two things from Victoria's Secret, this
lush leopard print jumper and a black thin hoodie. Thin hoodies are great for the summer when it gets a bit chilly in the evenings. I spent so much in the shop I got a free bag! Love free stuff.

The mall is massive, so we made our way around it, then
went to the marketplace. There are loads of little shops around it too like Jack Wills, Fat Face, Gap and Next. I got my boyfriend's birthday present while I was there too. So after a lot of shopping, it was time for food. To be honest I got us lost. I went down a little street just to see where it would take us and we found this restaurant/pub called The Cambridge Brew House. I ordered the fish and chips and OMG they were amazing. If you ever go to Cambridge I recommend this place. The food was lush.
After stuffing my face, we walked through the gardens to the three-storey Primark. I love Primark at the best of times but this one is AMAZING. So of course I had to purchase a few things. I got a grey buttoned pinafore for £12. I’ve always wanted one but they have never suited me. This one looks really nice though. I got some tights because mine all randomly go missing - it’s like my drawer eats them. I also
got a nice 'going out' top. It’s green and white and you can
tie it up at the bottom, for £14. I got a denim skirt, though unfortunately it didn’t fit me. It was only £10, however, which is not bad at all for a denim skirt.
Then we started walking back to the train station. I got my sister to take some pictures of me for this blog. Cambridge is a really pretty place. This time I just went to shop but I would love to go back and explore some more. I wouldn’t mind going punting next time, I’m sure that would be fun. I don’t really like London so Cambridge is perfect for me, though there are a lot of bikes.
When we were on the train coming home the sun was setting, so of course I had to take a picture of it. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
Thank you for reading this blog; I hope you liked it.
Lots of love
