Ca'n Picafort 2019

Can Picafort 2019 I’m currently laying on my sofa feeling sorry for myself because my amazing holiday is over. :( I’m home after an amazing 10 days.  I hope you’re all ready to hear about it ahah. Our flight was at 6am from Stansted. Having breakfast at 4am in Wetherspoons did feel a little weird. I don’t mind planes, I just don’t like when they land as it makes me feel sick so I had to put my head on James’s shoulder to stop feeling dizzy. I don’t do travel very well and that was a very long day of it. I was running on about 3 hours sleep.  We arrived in Mallorca on 19th May and stayed in the Hotel Haiti in Ca’n Picafort. On arrival we went to bed for about 6 hours. The hotel was lovely. Well, the pool was absolutely freezing but apart from that it was awesome. As we were all inclusive we had all our meals and drinks for free, in a way! I kid you not, I ate a shit load of brown rolls. I'm not too sure what they were but they were sooooo good! The food ...

Birchbox unboxing February 2019

I’ve recently subscribed to Birchbox, which is a subscription beauty box service. It’s £12.95 per month including P&P. Each box contains skincare, make up, anything beauty really.

You can set up your own profile so you get products that suit your skin tone, skin type, hair type etc. Each month I’ll do a blog about what is in my new Birchbox! As well as the price of all the items if you buy them separately and what I think of all the products.

This month's box was a collaboration with Not On The High Street. As a new subscriber I also got a free eyeshadow palette. I will definitely use all the products in the box this month and can’t wait to try them out.

So the first thing I got was a body moisturiser! It’s the Anatomicals body cleanser. It’s a full size product and retails at £4! It smells quite fruity. It’s also a shower gel! I haven’t used it yet but I 100% will give it a try.

Also in February’s box I got a SebaMed anti-pimple cream, also a full size product and retails at £4.39. Which I think is quite cheap! So if this product does work miracles it’s definitely worth that price.

Everyone loves a new make up brush and this month's Birchbox included a Luxe 205 blending brush. This retails at £11. So with these 3 products alone you have got your money back from the box and more. I will be using this brush, it’s really soft and I was really happy to receive this.

As I said earlier you can set up a beauty profile. My hair is really thick, and quite damaged, so I got a Coco & Eve Like a Virgin hair mask. This retails at £9. It smells of coconut - I do like hair products that smell of coconut! My favourite shampoo when I was younger was the Herbal Essences coconut shampoo and conditioner (the one in the blue bottle).

Finally, I got another make up product, the LOC Liquid Shimmer shadow in the shade Eclipse. It’s a bronze copper shade and retails at £8. I’ve never used liquid eye shadow before so I’m definitely going to give it a try.

So the Birchbox subscription is £12.95 a month. The contents of the February box came to a total of £36.39. It’s definitely worth the money. It’s a good way of trying new products you’ve never heard of or ever thought of using before!

I will be doing a Birchbox unboxing every month, so I really hope you enjoyed this blog.

Lots of love
