Ca'n Picafort 2019

Can Picafort 2019 I’m currently laying on my sofa feeling sorry for myself because my amazing holiday is over. :( I’m home after an amazing 10 days.  I hope you’re all ready to hear about it ahah. Our flight was at 6am from Stansted. Having breakfast at 4am in Wetherspoons did feel a little weird. I don’t mind planes, I just don’t like when they land as it makes me feel sick so I had to put my head on James’s shoulder to stop feeling dizzy. I don’t do travel very well and that was a very long day of it. I was running on about 3 hours sleep.  We arrived in Mallorca on 19th May and stayed in the Hotel Haiti in Ca’n Picafort. On arrival we went to bed for about 6 hours. The hotel was lovely. Well, the pool was absolutely freezing but apart from that it was awesome. As we were all inclusive we had all our meals and drinks for free, in a way! I kid you not, I ate a shit load of brown rolls. I'm not too sure what they were but they were sooooo good! The food ...

My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hello everyone and welcome to my everyday make up routine!

I'd just like to start by pointing out that I'm no make up artist and I just like doing my make up.

Step 1: Moisturiser

I start by using my Nivea moisturiser. During cold weather my face gets really dry - especially around my nose. So it's essential that I start my routine with this. I just put a small amount into my hand, dot it onto my face and rub it in with my fingers.

Step 2: Primer

I use the Benefit Pearl primer. I love to use a primer so my make up lasts all day, whether I'm at work or out and about. This one does the job perfectly. It came in my Birchbox and I have only recently started using it but I love it. I apply it in the same way I apply my moisturiser.

Step 3: Foundation

My go-to foundation is the Nars Luminous Foundation in the
shade Siberia. This is the perfect shade for me as I'm very
pale. I apply it using a beauty blenderIt works wonderfully on my skin and has a light/medium coverage. It stays on all day and I would highly recommend it.

Step 4: Concealer

You know when you stay up late watching your favourite Netflix show and in the morning you have those lovely dark
circles? Then concealer is your best friend. I'm currently using the Maybelline Instant age eraser concealer in shade
00 Ivory. It has a sponge on the end so it's easy to put it on
all the areas it's needed.

Step 5: Powder

To keep it all in place, I use the One Heck of a Blot setting powder by Soap and Glory. It's incredible. We've all been in
that situation where someone gives you a hug and you leave half your face on their clothes - this powder keeps my
foundation where it should be. I apply this using my Real

Step 6: Bronzer

I've recently started using the No7 bronzing pearls and I
love them as they give a lovely natural look. Usually, most
bronzers are too dark for me but this one is perfect for my
skin tone. It's perfect for both day and night make up. It
helps me to go from looking like a ghost to looking even slightly alive! I apply this using the Real Techniques contour brush. I put it on my cheekbones, forehead and under my chin.

Step 7: Blush

My cheeks are usually quite red anyway, but my favourite
blush that I've been using for over a year now is by Max
Factor in pretty pink. It gives my cheeks a bit of colour and
a bit of shimmer. I apply this using my Eco Tools blush brush, and put it on the apples of my cheeks.

Step 8: Highlighter

I LOVE HIGHLIGHTER. This is my favourite part of my make up routine. I use the L’Oréal Trio highlighter in silver. It's so
beautiful and bring my make up from a 6 to a 10. I love to
sparkle and this highlighter definitely does that. I apply this
to my Cupid's bow, cheekbones and the tip of my nose. I
use SEVENTEEN blush brush to apply it. For me, it really finishes off my look.

 Step 9: Brows

Everyone loves it when their eyebrows look good, don't they? I use the NYX tinted brow mascara to define my
brows and put a bit of colour into them. I've used this product for ages now and it has never disappointed me. Afterwards I would put a bit of highlighter to the brow bone to make them pop.

Step 10: Eye Shadow and Eye Liner

I don't always wear eye shadow but when I do my favourite
pallet to use is the Urban Decay Naked Pallet. It has the perfect nude/shimmery shades for a great daytime look. For a bolder look, it also has the perfect smoky eye shades. To apply my eye shadow, I use a collection of Real Techniques eye shadow brushes. To finish my eyes off I use the SEVENTEEN Make Your Mark eye liner pen. I find a pen easier to use, otherwise I'd just end up with wiggly lines! I
need to keep practicing how to wing eye liner because at the moment it just looks like a blob at the end of my eyelid - but practice makes perfect.

 Step 11: Mascara

My all time favourite mascara is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara - quite a big statement to make! This mascara gives my eyelashes extreme volume. It makes them really long and doesn't make them clump together. It's so good I don't think I'll ever get fed up of it. I've been through loads of different mascaras and this one is definitely the best.

  Step 12: Lipstick

I have a rather large lipstick collection. I've probably got every colour under the sun. My go-to nude lipstick is the MAC Hug Me. It has a shine to it which I love and it's a good everyday lipstick. Its name is also super cute. I love MAC lipsticks - they stay on all day and don't make your lips dry.

So there you go, my everyday make up routine! Let me know what your go-to make up products are!

I hope you enjoyed my blog.
