Ca'n Picafort 2019

Can Picafort 2019 I’m currently laying on my sofa feeling sorry for myself because my amazing holiday is over. :( I’m home after an amazing 10 days.  I hope you’re all ready to hear about it ahah. Our flight was at 6am from Stansted. Having breakfast at 4am in Wetherspoons did feel a little weird. I don’t mind planes, I just don’t like when they land as it makes me feel sick so I had to put my head on James’s shoulder to stop feeling dizzy. I don’t do travel very well and that was a very long day of it. I was running on about 3 hours sleep.  We arrived in Mallorca on 19th May and stayed in the Hotel Haiti in Ca’n Picafort. On arrival we went to bed for about 6 hours. The hotel was lovely. Well, the pool was absolutely freezing but apart from that it was awesome. As we were all inclusive we had all our meals and drinks for free, in a way! I kid you not, I ate a shit load of brown rolls. I'm not too sure what they were but they were sooooo good! The food ...

A few of my favourite things

These are a few of my favourite things

Today I’d thought I’d share a few of my favourite things.

1. Stacey Dooley - On the Front Line with the Women Who Fight Back

I don’t really read many books, but this one has had me hooked. I love watching Stacey Dooley so I thought I’d try her book. I love it, it’s about all the documentaries she’s made and it’s a really good book that hits you right in the feels. If you want a good non-fiction book with real life stories this one is for you. It’s about powerful women and their stories, from those fighting ISIS to those trying to cross the border for a better life. It sounds quite depressing but it’s very interesting.

2. My cats, Harry and Mollie

We adopted Harry and Mollie back in May and I’ve completely fallen in love with them. They are brother and sister. Mollie is black with a little white spot under her chin and Harry is a tabby cat. Harry is a proper lap cat and Mollie has to be wherever you are. Even if you are on the toilet, she’s there watching you. My family are convinced she can see ghosts because she just sits there staring at things. I previously had a cat, Jamie, who we had for 15 years. I felt like he gave me good luck. He was a black cat but he definitely wasn’t unlucky.

3. My pink coat

You may have seen on my Instagram that I’ve been
wearing a particular pink coat I got from Sainsbury's. Most of my coats are black - I’ve never owned a pink one before. But I bloody love this coat. It’s very fluffy
and warm. Perfect for winter. I’ve been wearing it
every time I've been out. You can wear it during the day and in the evening. It’s an all round, whatever the
occasion coat.

4. My SQUAD

I am in a WhatsApp group with a few people from work, where we talk about absolutely anything. If someone hacked into it they would probably think there was something wrong with us haha. Funnily enough I met one of best friends while staring at my boyfriend down the produce aisle, we worked on self scan together, we
never really talked until then and that’s how I met my
friend Lee he is one of the funniest and kindest people
you will ever meet, he helps me with this blog he puts the punctuation in for me. They are my best friends and I trust them with my life. Anything I have to say, I know they won’t judge me. They are the type of people you feel comfortable farting in front of ahaha What is said in the group chat stays in the group chat. They make work a lot easier to handle. I love them all dearly.

5. My Pandora bracelet

I think every girl owns one of these. The many charms on mine mean certain things. I have a cat bowl to remember my cat Jamie. I have many Disney ones because I’m a Disney freak, from different birthdays. I love that my bracelet holds so many memories and charms that mean something to me. I can’t pick a favourite charm because I love them all.

Thank you for reading this blog. X
