Ca'n Picafort 2019

Can Picafort 2019 I’m currently laying on my sofa feeling sorry for myself because my amazing holiday is over. :( I’m home after an amazing 10 days.  I hope you’re all ready to hear about it ahah. Our flight was at 6am from Stansted. Having breakfast at 4am in Wetherspoons did feel a little weird. I don’t mind planes, I just don’t like when they land as it makes me feel sick so I had to put my head on James’s shoulder to stop feeling dizzy. I don’t do travel very well and that was a very long day of it. I was running on about 3 hours sleep.  We arrived in Mallorca on 19th May and stayed in the Hotel Haiti in Ca’n Picafort. On arrival we went to bed for about 6 hours. The hotel was lovely. Well, the pool was absolutely freezing but apart from that it was awesome. As we were all inclusive we had all our meals and drinks for free, in a way! I kid you not, I ate a shit load of brown rolls. I'm not too sure what they were but they were sooooo good! The food ...

Goodbye 2018 HELLO 2019

I spent the final minutes of 2018 unable to lift my head as I had drank too much Prosecco and beer. FUN TIMES.

However, 2018 was a fun year for me. Of course, it had its ups and downs but there were definitely more ups. I made some amazing memories last year with some amazing people. I did things I never thought I'd be able to. I proudly completed an adventure in the trees that ended with me zip wiring over a lake. I was shitting myself, not going to lie. I rekindled an old friendship with one of my best friends from school, and she is now one of my bestest friends.

I had some really fun days out with my friends. Even if was
just for a walk, I really enjoyed spending time with them as about 5 years ago I didn’t really have any friends so I
cherish every moment I have with them. I’m lucky to have such genuine, lovely friends as they are hard to find.

Work was quite challenging this year and very emotional. I moved to a different department and learnt how to make coffee and said goodbye to some really lovely people. My sister also started working at the same place, so now there is no escape - she is everywhere I go. I love her really.

I had some amazing adventures. I went to London for a concert and went on holiday to Centre Parcs for a week! I have many more exciting adventures to come this year!

It was a big achievement for me to get a train with my sister to Cambridge for a day. I don’t know why, but I felt so much responsibility making sure my sister and I got there and back safely and it was fine, it was a lovely day. We didn’t argue once and I hope to do it again soon.

2018 went so quickly. It was like I blinked and it was 2019.
I’ve realised in the last year that I am stronger that I thought I was.

2019, I’m coming for ya!!!
